The spine is the core of our structure and the core of our yoga practice. This course will include the basic anatomy of the spine and proper body mechanics. Jen will also cover all of the major muscle groups in the upper and lower body that attach to the spine and pelvis and the major function of these groups. Some common injuries will also be discussed.

This information is ideal for all yoga instructors or serious yoga practitioners who would like do dive deeper into their knowledge of functional biomechanics. The information in this course will help you teach and/or practice more safely and effectively.
